Breakfast

A good breakfast is exactly what your brain needs after a long night without food to literally ‘break (its) fast'. By a “good breakfast” I don’t mean a gigantic, heavy meal. What our brains need first thing in the morning is light, sustained energy. This can be achieved by way of glucose-rich foods that include a good balance of fiber, vitamins and minerals, along with adequate protein and fat, and of course, filtered water or tea to rehydrate.
